MIDDLEHAM CELEBRATES HER MAJESTY’S PLATINUM JUBILEE AS OUR MONARCH

Thursday 2nd June

Lighting of the Beacon is at Middleham Castle at 9.45pm

Friday 3rd June

From 1.30pm – A “Picnic in the Park” on Middleham Playing fields.  Residents are invited to bring their picnics, blankets & chairs for an afternoon of fun, including children’s games, bouncy castle and slide.

Saturday 4th June

From 1 – 4pm  “Street Party” on the Market Square.  Please bring your own chair, food or bring dishes to share.  Music will be laid on with dancing for the children during the afternoon by DJ Wilko.

Sunday 5th June

Middleham Castle at 12noon – Church Service

Followed by a “Coronation Lunch” at The Key Centre at 1.00pm.  A glass of fizz on arrival to toast Her Majesty.  We have places for 80 people and ask those attending to come wearing a home-made Crown!
