Have your say on how anti-social behaviour offenders make amends in North Yorkshire and York

Received from the Office of the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner on 21 November 2022.

Today, Commissioner Zoë will be launching her online Community Remedy Options Survey which is an opportunity to consult on North Yorkshire’s Community Remedy document that contains a list of appropriate actions that can be carried out by a person who has engaged in anti-social behaviour or committed an offence, admits to their involvement and is to be dealt with for that behaviour or offence without court proceedings.

These options aim to be victim-focused, providing appropriate outcomes for offenders to take account of their actions and repair the harm caused.

Please could you promote the survey in your newsletters, advice surgeries, community meetings and on your social networks.

The survey is running for seven weeks and will be closing on 10 January 2023. To complete the survey please visit: https://bit.ly/CommunityRemedySurvey

I have also attached the media release which will be going out today along with the QR code for you to share on your social channels and in your publications, as well as a link to all the information on Commissioner Zoë’s website: https://www.northyorkshire-pfcc.gov.uk/news/community-remedy/
